This universal shaping tool has been custom built for the production of large Master Tools (plugs) and Prototype Lamination Tools (molds) for aircraft and other large composite shapes. It can also trim composite and plastic parts. This machine makes ATDG the only service bureau in the southeast dedicated to the manufacture of large Composite Tools for aircraft and other applications.

We use SDRC I-deas CAD/CAM/CAE software. I-deas is a long standing high-end all-in-one software package. I-deas is the sister package to Unigraphics and can open UG and SolidEdge native files with associativity. We will get along with your software!

We use Build!IT with our 12 foot Platinum Faro Arm to perform real-time inspection on all of our products as well as for contract inspection. One of our favorite applications is reverse engineering. We can generate accurate 3D CAD models of almost anything at a competitive price!
